Nominet System Status
Tuesday 1st February 2022 – update 3rd February 2022
An issue in one of our datacentres impacted our systems on 1st February between approximately 1am and 3am UTC. While we were working to resolve this issue, users will have experienced service degradation to registry systems including EPP, DAC, WHOIS and our domain management portals. New connection attempts may not have been successful during the incident.
Our corporate website, which includes web based WHOIS, suffered a longer impact with full service resumed shortly after 7am. The incident was caused by an unstable loadbalancer. We are confident this was not related to any third party attacks and have worked to rectify the issues.
Our registry systems continue to operate normally, although we will continue to monitor the stability of our systems. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
